Refund & Cancellation Policy

At TechZunction, we want you to be satisfied with what you buy and build with us. This policy sets out when refunds are available, what is non-refundable, and how to reach us if something has gone wrong.
1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when you are entitled to a refund or may cancel a purchase or engagement with TechZunction, and the process you need to follow. It applies together with our Terms of Service. If a signed Statement of Work contains different refund or cancellation terms, the SOW prevails for that specific engagement.
2. Digital Products (Source-Code Packages and Templates)
- Our digital products are licensed source-code packages delivered by email once payment is confirmed. Because of the nature of digital goods, all sales are final once the product has been delivered.
- Pre-delivery cancellation: if you cancel within 24 hours of purchase and we have not yet sent the delivery email, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Failed delivery: if we are unable to deliver the product within 7 business days of purchase for reasons attributable to us, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Defective product: if the delivered product materially does not match its published description and we cannot reasonably remedy the defect within 10 business days of your report, you are entitled to a full refund of that product.
- We do not offer refunds on the grounds that you changed your mind, no longer need the product, downloaded the wrong product by mistake after delivery, or installed the product in an incompatible environment that was clearly out of scope of the product page.
3. Custom Engagements and SOWs
- Advance payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, because the advance reserves our team's capacity and covers discovery and planning.
- You may cancel an in-progress engagement at any time by giving written notice. You remain liable for all work performed up to and including the date of cancellation, any non-cancellable third-party costs already committed, and a pro-rata portion of the current milestone.
- If we are unable to deliver agreed milestones due to our fault and the default remains uncured for 15 days after your written notice, you are entitled to a refund of fees paid for the undelivered portion of the milestone in question.
- Scope changes requested after work has started are not refundable; they are reconciled through a written change order.
4. Monthly Retainers and Subscriptions
- Monthly retainers renew at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel renewal at any time with at least 7 days' notice before the next renewal date.
- Retainer fees are non-refundable for the current billing cycle once the cycle has begun, but unused hours within a cycle do not roll over unless the SOW says otherwise.
- If we materially fail to deliver the retainer services for a given cycle and the issue is not cured within 10 business days of your written notice, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for that cycle.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email hello@techzunction.com from the address used to place the order with the subject line "Refund request — [order or project reference]".
- Include your order ID or invoice number, the date of purchase, the product or engagement name, and the reason for the refund request. For defect claims, please attach screenshots, error logs, or a short recording.
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and share our decision within 7 business days after we have the information we need to evaluate it.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through our payment gateway and typically reflect within 5 to 10 business days for domestic payments and up to 14 business days for international payments, depending on your bank or card network.
- Any transaction fees, currency conversion losses, or payment gateway charges levied by third parties are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card network. Most issues can be resolved faster through direct communication. Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of access to any delivered product or service and legal recovery of the disputed amount plus associated costs.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase or the signing of your SOW is the one that applies to that transaction.
