The Problem

Challenge

Glamour Waves is a well-regarded unisex salon in Gwalior but had zero digital presence — no website, no online booking, and no way for customers to browse services or pricing before visiting. All appointments were phone-based, leading to missed bookings outside business hours. Competing salons with websites appeared more professional and trustworthy. The salon needed a premium digital identity that matches the quality of their in-person experience.

Our Approach

Strategy

We designed Velvet as a premium brand experience with an elegant dark-and-gold design language that conveys luxury and professionalism. The homepage features a full-screen hero with salon imagery, CTAs for booking and service exploration, platform stats, and a location section with Google Maps. The About page tells the salon's story with a timeline of milestones. The Services page showcases all offerings (Hair, Skin, Makeup, Grooming, Bridal) with transparent pricing, duration, and gender tags (Women/Men) with category filters. The Gallery presents the salon's work with filterable categories (All, Hair, Makeup, Skin Care, Our Salon). The Booking page provides a clean appointment form with date, time slot, service selection, and WhatsApp confirmation fallback. The Contact page shows address, phone, email, business hours for every day, social links, a contact form, and an embedded Google Map.

The dark-and-gold aesthetic establishes Glamour Waves as a premium destination. Transparent service pricing eliminates the credibility gap. Online booking reduces missed appointments. WhatsApp integration meets customers where they already are. Local SEO optimization improves Google discoverability in Gwalior. Built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, Framer Motion for animations, and Zustand for state management. Deployed on Vercel with responsive mobile-first design and 90+ Lighthouse scores.
