The Problem

Challenge

The yoga industry is fragmented — studios rely on outdated scheduling tools, instructors lack centralized career management, and practitioners have no unified way to discover studios, book classes, track their practice, and access meditation content. Existing platforms are either class-booking-only (MindBody) or content-only (Glo, Alo Moves) — no platform combines studio marketplace, live class booking, on-demand content, meditation, workshops, and studio management in one ecosystem.

Our Approach

Strategy

We designed ZenMat as a two-sided platform. The Practitioner Experience features a landing page with today's classes, studio discovery with map view and style filters (Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Hot Yoga, Restorative, Prenatal, Meditation), class booking with in-person/virtual/hybrid indicators, a guided meditation library with categories (Mindfulness, Sleep, Body Scan, Compassion, Focus, Energy), workshops and retreats with instructor profiles and registration, on-demand video library, community features, and testimonials. The Studio Admin Dashboard provides real-time KPIs (monthly revenue, active members, class fill rate, churn rate), revenue trends with breakdown by type (memberships, drop-ins, workshops, private sessions), top performing classes, instructor performance metrics, and class management.

The Solution

Result

A production-grade yoga platform with 20+ pages across practitioner and studio admin roles — delivered end-to-end by TechZunction. The practitioner side handles discovery, booking, meditation, and workshops in one seamless experience. The studio dashboard shows $48.2K monthly revenue, 820 active members, 74% fill rate, and instructor performance at a glance. Built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, and shadcn/ui with a calming green-and-white design language. Deployed on Vercel with responsive mobile-first design and 90+ Lighthouse scores.
