Features AR visualization, product browsing by room and category, custom furniture ordering, shopping cart with add-ons, and comprehensive dashboards for business owners (analytics, inventory, production tracking), carpenters (order queue, earnings, profile), and admins (platform overview, quality control, returns management).
The Problem
Challenge
India's online furniture market is growing rapidly but the buying experience remains broken — customers can't visualize how furniture will look in their space, dimensions are confusing, and quality is uncertain online. Furniture brands manage catalogs on spreadsheets, track inventory manually across warehouses, and have zero visibility into custom order production. Independent carpenters have no digital presence and manage orders through WhatsApp. No platform combines consumer e-commerce with business management, production tracking, and a craftsman marketplace.
Our Approach
Strategy
We designed FurnishNow as a four-sided platform. The Customer Experience features room-based and category-based browsing (Living Room, Bedroom, Dining, Study/Office, Kids, Kitchen, Balcony, Pooja Room), product detail pages with 360-degree views, AR visualization, material selection (Sheesham, Teak, Mango, Walnut), fabric options, add-ons (fabric protection, assembly service), shopping cart with EMI options, and customer reviews with photos. The Business Dashboard provides analytics overview (revenue, orders, AOV, customers), catalog management, inventory tracking across multiple warehouses with low-stock alerts, order management, production tracking with craftsman assignment and deadline monitoring, customer CRM, and pricing management. The Carpenter Panel offers a custom order queue with progress tracking, earnings dashboard, materials management, and professional profile with specializations and certifications. The Admin Dashboard covers platform overview (GMV, sellers, SKUs, MAU, NPS), quality control with product listing verification checklists, returns and claims management, user management, and seller oversight.

The platform handles the full furniture lifecycle from discovery and AR visualization to custom production, delivery, and warranty. Product pages support material durability ratings, fabric options, color variants, and professional assembly add-ons. Production tracking connects business owners with craftsmen through deadline monitoring and progress bars. Quality control ensures every listing meets platform standards with multi-point verification checklists. Built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, and a warm amber-and-cream design language. Deployed on Vercel with responsive mobile-first design and 90+ Lighthouse scores.
