The Problem

Challenge

India's online floral market is valued at $1.2 billion but 85%+ of florists are unorganized — no digital tools, manual inventory, and 20-30% flower wastage due to perishability. Existing platforms like FlowerAura and Ferns N Petals are centralized e-commerce models that don't empower local florists. No platform combines a consumer marketplace with florist SaaS tools, custom bouquet building, subscription management, and event/wedding floral coordination in one unified experience.

Our Approach

Strategy

We designed BloomBox as a marketplace-SaaS hybrid. The Customer App features florist discovery with filters (location, specialty, rating, delivery speed), a shop page with curated collections and category browsing (fresh-cut, dried, indoor plants, succulents, wedding, corporate), a custom bouquet builder where customers select individual flowers, colors, wrapping, and card messages, subscription plans (weekly/bi-weekly with seasonal rotation), event and wedding floral packages, occasion reminders for saved dates (birthdays, anniversaries), wishlist management, and a full profile with order history, saved addresses, and reminders. The cart supports combo gifting with add-ons like cakes, chocolates, and teddy bears.

A production-grade florist marketplace with 20+ pages built end-to-end by TechZunction. The platform handles the full floral commerce lifecycle — from discovery and custom arrangement to subscription management and event coordination. The custom bouquet builder lets customers create unique arrangements with real-time price updates. Subscription plans offer flexible cadences with seasonal variety rotation. The event section covers wedding consultations, mood boards, and venue floral planning. Built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, and shadcn/ui with a warm, botanical design language. Deployed on Vercel with responsive mobile-first design and 90+ Lighthouse scores.
