The Problem

Challenge

India's event planning industry is a INR 10,00,000 Cr market but remains deeply fragmented and opaque. Clients planning weddings, corporate events, or parties juggle WhatsApp conversations with dozens of vendors, compare prices through word-of-mouth, and have zero visibility into who is reliable. Event planners rely on Instagram and referrals for client acquisition, manage events on spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups, and manually create proposals in Canva. No single platform connects clients, planners, vendors, and venues through the full event lifecycle — from inspiration and discovery to execution and post-event settlement.

Strategy

We designed EventCraft as a unified ecosystem for every event type — weddings, corporate events, birthdays, conferences, exhibitions, and cultural celebrations. The Client Experience features planner discovery with filters (event type, budget, city, style, rating), a vendor marketplace with 12 categories (venue, catering, photography, decoration, entertainment, makeup, invitations, transport, accommodation, gifts, pandit/clergy, AV/technical), venue browsing with virtual tours and capacity details, an inspiration gallery with style filters and mood board pinning, and curated event packages. The Planner Dashboard provides an overview with real-time KPIs (active events, task progress, pending payments, guest RSVPs), My Events grid with status tracking, payment management with milestone-based vendor settlements, notification center, and analytics with spending trends, budget allocation, and top vendors.

A production-grade event planning marketplace with 25+ pages — delivered end-to-end by TechZunction. The platform handles the full event lifecycle from inspiration through vendor booking to post-event settlement. The vendor marketplace aggregates 12,000+ verified vendors across 12 categories with portfolio galleries, reviews, and transparent pricing. The planner dashboard replaces 5+ separate tools with a single pane of glass covering events, payments, tasks, and analytics. Built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, and Lucide Icons. Deployed on Vercel with responsive mobile-first design and 90+ Lighthouse scores.
