A full-stack online food ordering platform built end-to-end by TechZunction — from brand identity and UI/UX design to backend architecture, POS integration, payment gateway, loyalty system, and production deployment. Featuring a signature Dual Mode System that morphs the entire UI between Classic (indulgent) and Healthy (nutritious) in real time.
The Problem
Challenge
A fast-growing burger restaurant in Gwalior needed a world-class online ordering platform to compete with Swiggy and Zomato — without giving up 25-30% commission on every order. They wanted their own branded experience with real-time POS sync, a loyalty program, combo deals, student discounts, and a way to showcase their new healthy menu line alongside the classic indulgent burgers. No existing off-the-shelf solution could deliver the Dual Mode experience they envisioned, and everything needed to be built from scratch — design, frontend, backend, POS integration, payments, and DevOps.
Our Approach
Strategy
We took full ownership of the product — from brand identity and UI/UX design through to backend architecture and production infrastructure. The centrepiece is the Dual Mode System: a single toggle morphs the entire UI, typography, colour palette, pricing, nutritional info, and menu content between Classic Mode (Mustard Yellow, Anton font, bold burgers) and Healthy Mode (Sage Green, Playfair Display, calorie-counted items with macro breakdowns). On the backend, we built a multi-tenant NestJS API with Prisma on PostgreSQL, integrated PetPooja POS for real-time menu sync and order push, Razorpay for payments, WhatsApp Business API for order notifications, and a coin-based loyalty engine with tiered rewards, referral codes, and a student pass program. The admin panel covers order management, coupon engine, promotional banners, analytics, and system settings.
The Solution
Result
A production-grade food-tech platform with 104 features across 13 modules, 130+ API routes, 70+ pages, and 60+ components — delivered end-to-end by TechZunction. The Dual Mode System lets health-conscious customers see calorie counts, protein/fat/carb breakdowns, and nutrition badges on every item, while classic-mode customers get the bold, indulgent experience. Real-time POS integration ensures the kitchen receives orders instantly, Razorpay handles payments with COD fallback, and the loyalty system drives repeat orders with coins, rewards catalog, and referral bonuses. Deployed on Vercel with CI/CD, optimised for Tier-2 India mobile-first users.
